Faces ultime pro long wear matte lipstick-Read my lips Review, Swatch and Overall Verdict

Have you guys ever heard  of the famous movie dialogue “On Wednesdays we wear pink ” from the teen movie Mean Girls, yes that particular dialogue totally fits  my life with slight change as I prefer pink lipsticks not only on Wednesday but everyday 😉 and by this you can completely say that I am one of those girls who is literally obsessed with pink shades. Whether its pink nude or fuchsia  for me every shade of pink is acceptable. Coming to the product which is faces ultime pro long wear matte lipstick in shade read my lips and yes one can totally say that the main reason behind this purchase was its color  so  let’s see how it fared on my lips..

This range of faces lipsticks comes in extremely slim and long cylindrical matte retractable twist mechanism tube packaging. The lipstick has rounded tip for a precise application .The brand name is printed with silver font and on the bottom the shade name is labeled. Its cap shuts with a click so its travel friendly as well. Overall for me the lipsticks matte packaging appears sleek and safe to carry around.

My Take on the product:-

Pigmentation/ Shade/ Texture and Staying ability:-

Read my lips – the shade name itself is catchy and true to its name , it can attract one towards the lips as its color is ‘stunning’  , it  can be best described as a hot pink color with red undertones . It’s one of those pink shades which can totally uplift the whole makeup look easily. The pigmentation level of faces ultime pro long wear matte lipstick is strong as one swipe can easily provide good color pay off.  Being a matte finish lipstick, it has that perfect melting and gliding texture to it which helps to provide a smooth and easy application. Once applied it gives a semi matte finish look on the lips which gradually sets into a true matte. I like the fact that  it dint accentuate fine lines on my lips  It’s creamy texture and intense color pay off has totally made me fall in love with it . It’s one of those lipstick which feels quite light on the lips.

Faces ultime pro long wearmatte  lipstick  is true to its claim as it stayed on my lips for 6-7 hours which is truly amazing  , it’s a transfer resistant  lipstick which survives meals and  gradually fades while  leaving a tint behind . Shade and quality wise this lipstick is a stunner but one thing which literally saddens me the most  is the quantity which you get like only 2.5 grams?..Specifically for an obsessed pink lipstick shade lover like me it’s quite less.  😦

 

Overall verdict :-

The faces ultime pro long wear matte  lipstick is a must buy for all the matte lovers out there as its texture , pigmentation  and staying ability is something which everyone wishes for . They do have other shades in this range and the above mentioned shade ‘read my lips’ is for someone who prefer pinks. Paring this shade with mascara or with dramatic look can definitely  turn the whole look to the next level.  Although for the price point, I do wish that the quantity could have been much more, nonetheless its   pretty  color and texture is forgiving .
