Chambor silver shadow compact review , swatch and overall verdict

We all know the importance of a good pressed powder as it’s a product which holds your makeup and as well as keep the extra oily shine away.  One needs to find a compact powder as per the skin tone if not using for highlighting intention. I truly believe that this makeup product is  a Holy Grail one for oily skin beauties like me. Chambor is a brand which has stolen my heart ever since I have used their trio eye shadows, Liquid lipsticks and kohls. Therefore I was quite keen to try a compact powder from the same brand. Let’s see how it worked for me ..

 Packaging :-

The chambor silver shadow compact comes in a huge  glossy navy blue triangular case with chambor rose logo printed on the top while the back side shade name is given . The compact is quite sturdy as it is provided with a push button. It has a tiny hole on the bottom, one needs to insert a pin through the hole in order to replace it with new refill .  It does has a huge mirror inside which is of great quality,   puff applicator is provided as well which I hardly use. Overall the packaging is travel friendly  and classy.

My take on the product:-

Pigmentation, Texture , Shade and Staying Ability :

Chambor silver shadow compact powder comes in 4 shades namely RR1 Ivoire, RR2 Rose pale, RR3 Sable and RR5 Noisette .  I own the  shade RR2 rose pale as it’s a perfect match for my skin tone.  The compact powder is quite pigmented and has smooth satiny texture . I love the fact that it does not contain any shimmer particles in it therefore post application it provides a soft matte look. The powder is finely milled and blends seamlessly into the skin, it sets the makeup perfectly and keeps shine at bay. I am one of those persons who prefer bb cream and powder on day to day basis therefore I look out for powders which provides slight coverage as well, this particular product is amazing for that as its pigmented and can be used be solo or top of a moisturizer , bb cream or foundation for even coverage. Since the powder is finely milled it does not look cakey post application, it does provides a brightening effect to our face.  Little amount is required to cover the entire face and neck. The best part about this particular pressed powder which makes it amazing than other powders in market is that the quantity which you get is huge ,basically we are getting refill of the pan so it will last you for longest time. I want to mention that I have already finished one pan and currently I am using the refill as that’s how much  I love this product.

I do have oily T zone, this product controls oil effectively for good 5-6 hours .It does not contain SPF and is non comedogenic oil free compact powder , I have been using this since a year now and it dint cause any breakouts  neither clogged my pores which is great. The downside of this excellent product is shade availability as it has only 4 shades in the range.

Overall Verdict:-

The chambor silver shadow compact powder is worth trying pressed powder as its pigmentation, soft texture, blend ability and longevity is impressive. I am totally satisfied with this powder as it blurs everything perfectly and gives a natural brightening effect. The product is a great value for money as you get huge quantity.  I highly recommend this product for all skin types as its not patchy or chalky; it feels light on the skin and sets the makeup beautifully.
