Sephora colorful blush review , swatch and overall verdict

Blushes have the power to give a healthy flush to our cheeks, I totally love the pinched effect it provides. A Right blush if applied correctly can make any one appear beautiful. Its very vital to choose blush which suits our skin tone and at the same time has good  blendability . The brand sephora has totally impressed me by their colorful blush line as they provide  wide range of shades , recently I got my hands on their  colorful blush in “ I am shocked “, pretty fancy name though!! Lets see how it worked for me.

The sephora blusher comes in a circular pan with  a transparent cap  flip opening . The brands symbol is embossed on the blush , I really like the whole simple yet attractive look of packaging .  Its quite sturdy  and travel friendly as well.  The shade name and details are written on the back side of the pan .

My take on the product :-

Shade, texture , pigmentation and staying ability :-

Sephora blusher in “i am shocked”is a bright pink color, Appearance wise on the pan it looks more like a fuschia pink color, its color is more towards cool undertones. At first sight the color did scare me as it was way to bright for my choice but when applied it just vanished all my fears as it looked beautiful. I particularly love its smooth texture , it’s a matte blush which doesn’t feel chalky at all. This soft textured blush blends effortlessly over the cheeks and feels quite light . Mind you its quite pigmented therefore little goes long way, also  it has even color pay  off. A light sweep across  cheeks adds the slightest flushed effect while couple of layers provides an intense  pop of color , I can truly say its buildable as well. I feel a stippling brush works great with this one  as its supremely pigmented , therefore layering  with small strokes gives you best results .   One should not go overboard with this blusher as it might look unnatural .The sephora blush in ‘ I am shocked’ is one of those blushes which would flatter fair to medium skin tones beautifully . This shade can easily brighten up any look,  its non chalky texture  and impeccable  blendability has already made me fell in love with it.

The sephora blusher stays for good 6-7 hours on my oily skin without getting uneven or patchy, I like the fact that its long lasting as well.

Overall verdict :-

Looking for matte blushers which are non chalky and pigmented ? Then sephora blushers are the right product for you. They have extended range of shades and textures in the colorful blush line , the shade  ‘ I am shocked ‘is for someone who loves to add a healthy pinched effect on the cheeks without efforts as the shade is bright pink and   the blush is matte , pigmented plus has super soft texture which blends effortlessly. Since I loved its formula , I am already eyeing on other shades in this range .
