Huda beauty liquid matte review , swatch and overall verdict

Liquid lipsticks has taken a huge storm over the beauty era , every high end or drugstore brand are bringing out their own liquid lipsticks and claiming to have the most unique comfortable formula. Huda beauty being one of the top  high end brand and my favorite for sure has also launched her own liquid lipsticks immediately after her lip contours launch ,  being an ardent makeup lover myself I purchased one of her liquid lipstick in most popular shade called as bombshell , lets see how it worked for me..

Packaging :-

The one word which immediately pops in my mind when I see the packaging is “stunning”, I love the way the  lipstick comes in white sliding carton and is placed in between lips, once you slide the lipstick it feels luxurious as it comes in frosted  see through sleek glass tube with huda beauty logo on top and shade name at the bottom. The doe foot applicator provided  is great for precise application, overall I am impressed with the packaging.

My Take on the product:-

Pigmentation, shade , texture and staying ability :-

Huda beauty liquid matte lipstick in bombshell is supremely pigmented and has super liquidy thin texture unlike the usual liquid lipsticks in the market, It smells like vanilla cupcake  which feels quite overwhelming and disappears after few seconds . I really love the fact that its thin texture makes the application clean and easy , initially I thought this texture would take time to dry but I was wrong it mattified within a minute . The good thing about the formula is that it does not accentuate dryness on the lips being a liquid lipstick and feels quite comfortable. Bombshell is a pretty peachy nude shade which will suit fair to medium complexions easily , I love the way it looks on me whenever I pair it with dramatic eyes or wear it casually. I prefer nudes with peach undertones to it and this pretty shade fits the bill perfectly. The wand feels quite nice and gives full control while application , the lipstick applies smoothly without being patchy and added point is that even re application doesn’t make my lips appear super dry or patchy. It is transfer resistant lipstick , however initially as mentioned it feels nice and comfy but later after few hours post eating it starts to crack on the center portion of my lips.

Coming to the staying ability , it stays intact without transferring for 5-6 hours which is not commendable being a high end brand , i expected much more longevity .

Overall verdict:-

Looking for a high end liquid lipstick which has the perfect non feathering formula ?Then huda beauty  is the brand you could trust . I am impressed with its pigmentation, texture and buildable formula which does not accentuate dryness on the lips and neither feels dry.  Not to forget I even like its wand as it makes the application quite easy. The only thing is that eventually it turns dry post eating and all which is not a big issue as that’s with every lipstick .The shade Bombshell has already taken a space in my heart as I see myself pairing it with smoldering eyes.
